About Proactive Prosthetics

For more than 25 years, Proactive Prosthetics has supported people in reclaiming their independence with exceptional prosthetics, orthotics and rehabilitation, shaped by genuine compassion, clinical expertise and our promise of patient crafted care.

Our Mission

To help every patient move forward with greater confidence, comfort and capability by delivering expert prosthetics, orthotics and rehabilitation that is genuinely tailored to the individual.

Our values

These are the principles that shape how we work with patients, their families and our professional partners.

Patients first

Patients come first in every decision we make. We listen carefully, act thoughtfully, and always advocate for what’s best for the individual.

Tailor-made

No two people, and no two outcomes, are the same. We build bespoke plans and devices around the person’s needs, lifestyle and future aspirations.

Above and beyond

We go further wherever we can: in service, in support, and in the details that turn good care into life-changing care.

Pride in
our craft

We’re proud to be true specialists, combining deep clinical expertise with meticulous making and fitting; using the best tools and technology available.

Every story
shapes us

We learn from every patient and every case. We constantly refine, improve and innovate what we do because our work is never truly finished.

Proactive progress

We keep momentum. We act early, collaborate closely, and adapt quickly, ensuring care evolves as the patient progresses.

Our Story

Proactive was built on a simple belief: clinical care should feel personal and built around the patient.

For over 25 years we’ve supported people with limb loss, complex injuries and mobility challenges and one thing is clear: every patient is unique. Not just in the treatment required, but in the life each person wants to return to.

That’s why we developed a way of working that blends clinical excellence with genuine patient crafted care.

From initial assessment through to ongoing rehabilitation, we bring together prosthetists, orthotists, physiotherapists and rehabilitation specialists who create plans that focus on comfort, mobility, confidence and quality of life and are shaped around the unique goals of each patient.

As our community has grown, so have we. We’ve expanded our clinic network across the UK, so more people can access specialist care, wherever they are.

Every story has shaped us, and we continue to grow, adapt and learn to deliver the best care for patients, whatever their goals.

That’s Patient Crafted Care.

Patient Crafted Care, built around the individual.
